Salt City Candle Giveaway!!!

Here's a chance for all you "covert" readers out there to come out of hiding! I have a fabulous 26-oz. jar candle from Salt City Candles in the Apricot Basil scent that I would like to give away to one lucky reader. Just add a comment to this post, telling me your favorite kind of candle, and you'll be entered to win the candle you see here. My favorite candles, of course, are Salt City Candles, so I thought it only fitting that I give away one of my favorites here.

I will put all your names in a basket and draw one name on Friday, February 8, and will post the winner's name here.

  1. My favorite candle is one or all that are in our house and are either burning or on a candle warmer and when I walk into our home on a cold winter day and feel the warmth and smell the vanilla/sugar cookie/apple cinnamon/butter rum/blueberry, whatever flavors are burning...that's my favorite candle. They make me instantly relax and know that the lady love of my life has readied my home for her special man to relax in after a hard day in the office...which happens to be in my home and has it's own candle warmer so I have the best of both worlds...home and work all wrapped up in my favorite candle aromas.

(all employees or family members of employees of Nesting Instincts are not eligible for prizes offered)

  2. My favorite candles are from the "Old Virginia Candle" company. They are made from soy wax (so they burn a lot cleaner) and come in these darling primitive looking jars. They burn cleanly and evenly and smell wonderful! They are a bit pricey purchased online, but I have recently found some for about half-price at HOME GOODS.

  3. Well right now my favorite candle is Volcano by "Capri Blue" which I found at Anthropologie. It has a sweet smell that I love and it's also one that my husband and I agree on :-)

  4. Hey Court-en-nay!
I love, love, love Yankee Candle's Macintosh candles. I burn them in the kitchen AND the bathroom! And by the way, I LOVE your blog! I always check for Friday's latest. Keep up the good work!

  5. My favorite candle (as of today) is made by Orleans Candle Co...Coconut-Lime-Verbena...all in one! They are locally made by a woman from New Orleans who now has a business in North Portland. 100%soy wax with a cotton wick and a delicate fragrance that puts me in Hawaii. It passed "my" test for the perfect candle.
