A peek into a few of my ongoing projects...

Just so you don't think I'm just sitting around...I thought I'd show you a few "before" photos as a teaser. These are a couple of longer-term projects I've been working on, and they are in various states of completion. I consulted with the respective clients on paint colors, accessories, and furniture purchases. I gave them "homework" - they are painting, installing and shopping like mad! (Note: let me be very clear - especially if you're visiting my blog for the first time - these are "BEFORE" photos only in this post - "afters" are coming soon!)

This first room is almost done. I'll be going back in the next few weeks to help the client put the finishing touches on the room. This is a family/media room (note the media room-type couch) and the clients have painted, installed beautiful new flooring, and installed lighting (I won't elaborate on the lighting...will let you see it in the "after" pic in a couple of weeks).

This next photo is an actual office (not a home office). The main challenge in this space...brown floors, brown brick on the walls, brown woodwork, and brown shelving. Not for long, my friends! I've already found some new furniture for this client on Craigslist (a great pedastal table for meetings and a couple of brand-new leather Parsons chairs - both GREAT deals). She's got a lot of painting to do, but man...what a difference it will make!

You might remember this princess bedroom...the client has repainted it...I just need to get out to her house to take an "after" photo...I'll be updating this one soon (this is it after my redesign, but before paint):

And finally, this master bedroom has turned out gorgeous! This is a photo of it after my redesign, but before it was repainted. The color of the walls in this photo had a bit of a purple tint to them; a lovely color, but didn't coordinate with the client's things. We repainted it a lovely deep mocha color - even on the ceiling. The ceilings are vaulted and so could handle a dark color on them. The feeling is very cozy, warm, and romantic. I just haven't gotten out there yet to take the after photo! (I was there last week for a party, but forgot to take my camera. Promise I'll bring you after pics soon.)

Be sure to check out my other before-and-afters! And stay tuned for another Party-Time Tuesday post tomorrow!
